Room Layout eXpress (RLX)

The Auralex Acoustics Room Layout eXpress (RLX) is an acoustical treatment calculator that determines the proper amount of acoustic treatment based on the overall size and purpose of a room. The original web-based version, found at rlx.auralex.com, is designed to deliver results for rooms up to approximately 700 cubic feet. The scaled-up mobile app version is able to configure rooms up to approximately 7,000 cubic feet. I advised and managed outside developers to help build, test, update, and transfer the information and functionality of this app. It made its debut at NAMM 2019 and has since been featured in several major media and social media campaigns.  I was also responsible for monitoring the app and reporting the analytics post-launch. The app had over 2,000 active installs at it’s peak and 10,000+ over it’s lifetime.
